Inspirajar.

My sister is ten years old and the only things she really seems to be passionate about in life are her HP mini, iPod Touch, cell phone and the hours she spends watching Disney channel. In an attempt to help her find a hobby, I made her this "inspiration jar" for Christmas.

This is simply hot glue that I put on a jar and after cooling completely I covered in frosted glass spray paint. As you can see, I am not too skilled with the glue gun, but I wouldn't say it's too bad for a first try. After letting the paint dry I filled the jar with craft instructions, recipes, journal prompts and just ideas of fun things to do. I'm going to encourage her to take from the jar when she's really feeling the need for some inspiration. And hopefully by the time she reaches the end of her supply she'll be ready to pursue a hobby on her own.
